A warming Arctic!
This graph is from a paper led by David Lawrence of the National Centre for Atmospheric Research.
The study showed that during a period of rapid sea-ice loss (or RILEs) Arctic temperatures warmed rapidly, in some regions by as much as 5 degrees in a decade (compared with the current rates of around 0.2 degree per decade!).
This is due to a process called Arctic amplification or "albedo flip", which you can read more about at climatesafety.org
